University Scholarships for First-Year Domestic Students
Admitted students are automatically considered for a merit scholarship based on a full review of their comprehensive high school academic performance and completed TU application. For new full-time students, of prime importance are the student’s academic record and the results of national testing programs.
Applicants who submit a complete admission file after February 1 are considered for merit scholarships based on available funding. 更新全日制招生也得视情况而定.
TU Scholarships and grants, unless specifically stated, may be applied only toward tuition for full-time, first degree-seeking students. Unless otherwise noted, the amount(s) listed on the award notice are yearly awards with one-half applicable to the fall and one half to the spring semesters.
University scholarships will credit to the student’s account no earlier than the first day of class each semester. These awards are made possible from general funds budgeted each year with approval of The University of Tulsa Board of Trustees.
University Scholarships for Transfer Students
Admitted students are automatically considered for a merit scholarship based on a full review of their comprehensive academic performance and completed TU application. The University of Tulsa offers unique scholarships for transfer students. Unless otherwise noted, the amount(s) listed on the award notice are yearly awards with one-half applicable to the fall and one half to the spring semesters:
Tulsa Achieves
Completed at least 12 hours (or in progress) in the TCC Tulsa Achieves Program
GPA: 3.25+
奖: $19,000
Phi Theta Kappa
Completed at least 30 hours and certificate of membership in PTK
GPA: 3.50+
奖: $24,000
TCC Honors
Awarded an Associates degree as an Honors Scholar
GPA: 3.50+

National Merit Semifinalist Package
The University of Tulsa is pleased to award National Merit Semifinalists its highest academic scholarship, the National Merit Semifinalist Package. TU recognizes the outstanding academic success of a National Merit Semifinalist and believes these students will have a remarkable impact on campus life.
The university, along with the Oklahoma Board of Regents and the Board of Trustees, will invest over $263,000 per student (estimated $66,000 per year for four years) through the National Merit Semifinalist Package.
Presidential Scholarship
Presidential Scholarship recipients are awarded full tuition for 8 semesters. Eligible students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must submit a separate application and resume when applying for the Presidential Scholarship. For more information, visit the Presidential Scholarship website.
IB Scholarship
For students starting in Fall 2023, TU will award an IB Merit Scholarship of $3,000 per year for IB students who complete the full IB diploma with a high school grade point average of at least 3.0. This scholarship is awarded with full time enrollment for 8 semesters or until you earn your first degree, whichever comes first. For more information, visit the International Baccalaureate web page.

Our office also receives many scholarship announcements that we like to pass along to our students. This listing of Outside Undergraduate Scholarships is offered by other organization and foundations outside of The University of Tulsa. Please remember, when you apply for outside scholarships, there should not be a fee to be considered for the scholarship.
Refugee Scholarship
In effort to support the global refugee community, The University of Tulsa commits to an annual scholarship for one new student with refugee status or living in a refugee camp internationally. The scholarship will be awarded for up to eight semesters (four years) of undergraduate study or until they have earned their first bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.
