Schedules & Details

Housing and Dining Agreement

Students who enter into an agreement with TU for housing and/or dining services agree to remain in residence and participate in the meal plan for the entire academic year. All rates are based on the dates published in these schedules, which may be amended from time to time pursuant to the housing and dining agreement. Those approved to arrive earlier than or stay after published dates will be charged on a daily basis.

Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests may be submitted through the Housing and Dining Portal. Please be prepared to upload supporting documentation.

December Graduation – In order for the graduating resident to qualify for release at the end of the fall term without incurring liquidated damages, the resident must not be enrolled for the spring semester and must complete the cancellation request form through the Housing and Dining Portal by November 1. Residents vacating under this provision must do so by 3:00 p.m. on the Sunday following the fall commencement date.

    Opens Jan. 6, 2023 (9 a.m.)
    Closes May 7, 2023 (3 p.m.)

    Academic 2023-2024 Term:

    Opens August 17, 2023 (9 a.m.) for first-year students participating in StartTU Orientation.

    Opens August 18, 2023 (9 a.m.) for all other students

    Closes May 12, 2024 (3 p.m.)

    • Fall 2023:

    All areas of campus housing remain open and available throughout entire Academic term including Fall, Spring and semester breaks.

    Housing Schedule for Greek Housing Owned by the University (Sorority Row & Sigma Nu):

    Spring 2023 Term:
    Opens Jan. 6, 2023 (9 a.m.)

      Ends Dec. 16, 2023 (3 p.m.) if cancellation approved or agreement buy-out applied.
    • J-Term 2024 (Included in Academic agreement. Billed at a daily rate with a Fall Only, Spring Only or J-Term Only agreement):

    All areas of campus housing remain open and available throughout entire Academic term, except when closed for Fall, Winter, and Spring breaks by individual Sorority Corporation Board (no proration for any closed dates).

  • Housing Schedule for University Apartments

    Campus Apartments operate continuously throughout the year with a Summer, Fall and Spring agreement. 
    Spring 2023 Term:

    Ends May 7, 2023 (Deadline to vacate is 3 p.m., if not continuing for Summer 2023)

    Summer 2023 Term:
    Starts May 20, 2023 (9 a.m.) – Students may request to arrive early, via the Housing/Dining Portal
    Ends Aug 5, 2023 (Deadline to vacate is 3 p.m., if not continuing for Fall 2023)

    Academic 2023-2024 Term:

    Ends May 12, 2024 (3 p.m.)

    *Please note: Students in storage that choose to return mid-summer, pay the daily rate to the start of the Fall term. Please ask someone in the housing office for your summer costs before splitting your summer between living and storage. Early move-in requests and extensions must be made electronically through the Housing/Dining Portal and are billed at the daily rate for the associated term. Early move-ins and extensions are granted based on the availability of the specific assigned unit.

    Housing Schedule for Summer School Residence Hall (Sorority Row)

    Summer 2023 Term:
    Starts May 7, 2023 (9 a.m.) – Residents must confirm their move-in date/time with housing as spaces are based on availability.
    Ends Aug. 5, 2023 (3 p.m.) – Transition to Fall spaces may be required as early as July 29 or may available for immediate move-in, please check with housing for questions.
